Azure SQL Database default configurations are changing
Azure SQL Database now has the latest Gen 5 hardware in place to ensure optimal service performance. As a result, the default database configurations and the default elastic pool configurations are being changed for all new Azure SQL databases.
Azure SQL Database managed instance now enforces TLS 1.2 on outbound connections
In January 2020 Microsoft enforced TLS 1.2 for intra-service traffic in all Azure services. For Azure SQL Database managed instance, this resulted in TLS 1.2 being enforced on outbound connections used for replication and linked server connections to SQL Server.

Private Endpoints for Azure Storage are now Generally Available
Private Endpoints provide secure connectivity to Azure Storage from a Azure virtual network (VNet). On-premises networks can also securely connect to a storage account using a private endpoint when that network is to a VNet using Express Route or VPN. Private Endpoints for Azure Storage are now generally available in all Azure public regions.
Azure Site Recovery update rollup 45—March 2020
This update provides fixes and download links for the latest versions of these Azure Site Recovery components:
Site Recovery unified setup and Site Recovery mobility agent (both are version 9.32.5487.1) for Windows Server, CentOS and Ubuntu machines. This is used for Azure virtual machine (VM) replication and replication of on-premises VMware virtual machines and physical servers to Azure.
